HR OFFICER
An exciting opportunity has arisen for HR Professionals to join our HR Team in Al Khawarizmi International College.
Job Summary:
The HR Officer is responsible for the implementation of HR policies and procedures and providing support in the administration of the centralized Human Resources functions which include but not limited to administration of recruitment or staff training and development programs with administrative tasks.

Key Responsibilities:
- Staff recruitment and selection process which include provide assistance to the management on staff recruitment, prepare advertisements and announcements for vacant positions, assess applications and shortlist candidates, schedule and organize interview, conducting initial interviews and reference checks on possible candidates.
- Work closely with other departments, increasingly in a consultancy role, assist line managers to understand and implement personnel policies and procedures.
- Develop and update HR Policies and Procedures as necessary.
- Support employees in all human resource concerns and queries and facilitate actions to resolve the issues in a timely manner.
- Administration and maintenance of records and filing systems as required.
- Conduct new employee orientation and induction training in coordination with the Head of Quality.
- Leave and attendance management and payroll administration.
- Analyze training needs in conjunction with departmental managers and assist in the implementation of the academic/professional development program.
- Deal with grievances and implement disciplinary measures.
- Responsible for the complete process of staff performance evaluation and appraisal.
Ideal candidate should be able to demonstrate their experience and knowledge in the following criteria:
- Degree in Human Resources Management or related discipline. CIPD or SHRM member is an advantage.
- At least three years in a dynamic human resource role.
- Understanding and practical knowledge of UAE labour law.
- Maturity to deal with people at all levels of the organization and demonstrated ability to relate effectively to a diverse range of people.
- Good organizational, multi-task and time management skills.
- Sound judgement and decision making skills.
- Good interpersonal relation and communication skills both in English and Arabic.
